  HEALTH CARE

CEMIC provides high-quality medical care on the basis of the most updated and comprehensive professional training. The constant teaching and research activity translates into a better service to patients. The division of the medical team into departments is one of CEMIC characteristic features. Thus, CEMIC consists of 10 departments and 4 services run by their own heads. Any and all team has someone who supports and controls somebody else, who in turn evaluates and encourages another person. This contributes to better health care quality in an academic environment.

CEMIC health care services comprise outpatient care; complementary diagnostic tests; practices; clinical, surgical and obstetrical hospitalization; bariatric surgery; fetal and neonatal surgery; pediatric hospitalization unit; intensive care unit; coronary unit; dialysis; kidney, pancreas and bone marrow transplantation; physical, cardiovascular, and neuropsychological services, etc.

Health care services are provided in the seven outpatient care centers and in the two University Hospital headquarters, which also offer medical emergency services.
